It is in most of our canned foods--processed foods--our drinking water--soft drinks--beer and other alcohols etc. Hang fire it is even in bottled water, Yes plastic jugs with fluoride enriched water that is already fluroidated water made for mixing baby formula. Yet our health orgainizations say thata all babies and pregnant and nursing moms should avoid fluoride. When are the BrainWashed people of this country going to wake up to reality.George Tolhurstnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19275742.post-6164136471256502452013-10-19T18:49:32.978-04:002013-10-19T18:49:32.978-04:00356APlease consider posting about the value of Vit...356APlease consider posting about the value of Vitamin D3 in the prevention of cavities (plus much more valuable support for good health).

Here are two studies from the 1930s showing 1000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily prevented cavities. I am a retired RN and when I discovered this information from the www.vitamindcouncil.com website I told my daughter who was greatly concerned about the number of cavities her young children were having despite good nutrition, good oral health practices, no soda and extra sugar. She also being a "good" mother used sunscreen every time they went in the sun. They have had no cavities since starting on 1000 IU and now take 2000 IU daily plus they now have very few colds. I suspect she was very Vitamin D deficient when she was pregnant as well.

You may locate the studies here: Here are two actual studies done in 1934 and 1938 showing 1000 IU daily of Vitamin D3 prevents cavities. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1558862/
There is also another study-- Fewer caries with added vitamin D to nutritional diet.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1528682/pdf/amjphnation01003-0080.pdf
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1753-4887.2012.00544.x/abstract;jsessionid=E3BCC934E097574C9C3DE90553868264.d04t0

I suggest that you will find much more information on Vitamin D and cavities on this website. You might even contact Dr. John Cannell, MD who is very open to conversations and knowledgeable as well.

Thank you for this article.

Kallie Miller, RN
London, Ontario, Canada.Isishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00331989962916492287noreply@blogger.com
